You’ll need a Google Account to use Google services like Google Analytics or Google Search Console. If you don’t have one or you want to set up another account, click the link in the description section below to start.
Enter your name and enter a username for your gmail account. If you prefer, you can use your own email address as your username by clicking Use my current email address instead and entering your email.
Keep in mind the username you want may already be taken by someone else. Keep trying different variations until you find one that works for you.
Next, enter a password and type it in again to confirm your password.
Click Next to continue.
Be sure to enter a phone number and a recovery email so you’ll have more than one option to recover access to your account if you lose your login information. Next, enter your birthday and gender. Click Next to continue.
Click Send if you would like to verify your phone number and take advantage of additional features that require use of your cell phone. If not, click Not now.
If you see an icon in the upper right hand corner with your first name initial, you’ll know you have successfully signed up for a Google Account and are ready to use Google services that require one.
Finally, be sure to record your new Google account email and password so you’ll have them handy when it’s time to login later!
